Mockingbird eggs

This mockingbird and its partner made a nest in my rosebush. It was quite a surprise to see as I was trimming off the spent blooms. I snapped the photo below with my phone and have not bothered the nest since.

Such pretty eggs, such a nice nest. I know the eggs have hatched because I can hear the babies tweet. But the mockingbirds protect their nest something fierce so I have not even attempted to take any photos. I think it is more important for them to raise their young that for me to get a photo.
