:) These Phainopeplas are hard to get a decent photo of, not only are they fast and like to hide in the shade but they are almost completely black.

Metering can be difficult on dark subject, but it looks like you nailed it. I see detail in the eye, a pupil and even a tiny catch light. Great job.
