New Neighbors
This cow skull hangs next to the back door of the house. The other day I noticed some twigs on top of it and thought to myself, this is not really a good place for a dove to nest.
Well the dove felt differently. We planned to remove the twigs and take down the skull until nesting season was over but when we took a peek inside the nest hoping it was empty but no, it held one egg so I guess for now we will leave it be.
I hope to keep you posted on the progress of the chicks if and when they hatch.
