Hummingbird Feeder by Day & Night

While setting up for night shots of lesser long-nosed nectar bats, I caught some hummingbirds at the feeder.

Photos taken with my new Canon Rebel 3Ti. I am still trying to learn all the features on this camera.

I love this one see the bee up at the top. :) The flash really freezes the movement of the hummingbird and bee.

When darkness sets in the Lesser Long-nosed bats come to raid the feeder

They stick their long tongues in the feeder holes with amazing accuracy.

Some use their little feed for balance.

It is pretty cool to see the bats coming into the feeder. Their wings fascinate me.

Well that is it for shots taken September 6, 2013
