Guess what this is Oct. 3, 2012

Normally on Wednesdays, I post a close up photo of something I have seen lately at the top of my post and ask people to take a look at the photo, make a comment or guess on what they think it might be. The following week, I post the full photo of last weeks close up at the bottom of the page so you can see what it was and put a new close up photo to guess on at the top of the page.

My idea is for ‘Guess what this is’ is to have some fun, and look at things in a new way. I love it when someone makes a creative, unexpected or funny guess. It does not matter if the guess is right it is all about seeing how different things look close up.

So if you would like to play take a look at the photo at the top of the page and make a guess on what you think it is. Please share your thoughts as a comment. Come back next week to see the answer and a new photo to guess on. There are no prizes :) just fun.

Here is this weeks photo… Guess what this is!

The answer to last week’s post is…

Collared peccary or javelina ear

Something I have discovered while playing this game is you looks at things to closely it is sometimes really hard to figure out what they are, but then again if you only look at things from a distance, you can miss the important and interesting details. It is also often easy to get swayed by what someone else thinks/guesses.

If you want to see previous Guess what this is posts, go to the categories drop-down menu on the right and pick “Guess what this is”
